Can you encapsulate a person's entire life in only one song? I don't know, but I tried anyway. This is a solo piano piece that I wrote for my grandmother, who died last year. She was 89, a smoker, a drinker... she was feisty and wouldn't put up with anyone's bullshit. She had a heart of gold and never forgot anyone's birthday, even the great-great grand-children's.  She was awesome.

For Nana. You are missed.

This is a short film / music video I put together for my song "The Root of All Evil."

I have released the above video under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License, so it can be remixed and mashed-up if anyone wants to do that, but please note that this Share Alike license applies only to the video imagery, not the soundtrack. To be clear, you do not have rights to distribute the soundtrack / music separate and apart from the video, notwithstanding fair use exceptions.

If you would like to use the music for a project, you must purchase the song.  I am in the process of setting up the means to purchase music, as well as fleshing out the rest of this site, so please stand by.  In the meantime, you can always listen to my songs for free on my SoundCloud page.

Welcome to the official Nannying Tyrants music blog.  It's still under construction, but the site's design is almost finalised.   I hope to launch this blog properly this weekend.

In the meantime, why not enjoy this Downfall parody about plain packaging for cigarettes and tobacco products in the UK.
